I started out on a journey many years ago.  I didn't know I was starting a journey back then but as it turns out it all began when someone asked me to help them with an environmental project.  Since that time I have help or begun many other projects that helped promote or protect our planet.

This webpage is just another step along that journey.   My plan is to write about my experiences whenever I go outside, whether it be to a local forest preserve, a national park or a walk in the country. These are just muses from my trips into nature and random thoughts that pop into my head. I will probably be the only one reading this but on the off chance someone else finds it interesting, then I hope you will join me as I chronicle my trips and excursions.
